Rachel Benkeser is a 2010-2012 Presidential Management Fellow with the National Cancer Institute. Before joining SRP in June 2011, Rachel worked in the NCI offices of Biorepositories and Biospecimen Research, Government and Congressional Relations, and Advocacy Relations. In SRP, Rachel is the lead for strategic planning and coordination activities.

Rachel received her M.Sc. in Global Health and Population from the Harvard University School of Public Health and her B.S. in International Relations from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is currently pursuing a certificate in Organizational Learning and Change from the George Washington University.

Outside of the office, Rachel is a distance runner, avid traveler and hiker, and volunteer coordinator for group dinners at the NIH Children's Inn.
